Administrative Hand Book 2008
The data of departmental Administrative Hand Book has been updated till date on the basis of information received from the field formations and transfer/posting orders passed by the CBDT. Some of this data, particularly of the officers who have joined the new posts on transfer/promotion is not complete. Further, some officers have retired recently or have joined some others post on deputation and full particulars in respect of such officers are not yet available with the Directorate of Income Tax (PRPP&OL). The data of the AHB as updated has now been put on the website with the request that all the officers including retired officers may kindly check up the data and suggest corrections, if any. Such suggestions may kindly be sent at the following address within a week as a supplement to AHB 2008 is proposed to be printed and supplied very shortly. This supplement will contain the updated information on the basis of data as collected by this Directorate after taking into consideration the suggestions received from various sources. In case, no suggestions are received from any officer/office, the data will be presumed to be correct and incorporated in the supplement as it is. Information about any officer on deputation known to any officer may also be checked and appropriate corrections may kindly be suggested.
